November 14th, 2012 11/10/2012: A4C receives Mass Effect Award
11/10/2012 - We are ecstatic here in the A4C office this week! Just having returned from Atlanta for Livestrong’s Critical Mass Young Adult Cancer Alliance Conference, we are rejuvenated and inspired by the work being done in the adolescent and young adult cancer community.

Our 2012 Fall Koru Camps just filled, but we hope to announce the 2013 schedule soon. We are hoping to run six camps next year!

Athletes for Cancer's Executive Director, Tonia Farman, was featured on the Today Show last week for receiving SELF Magazine's Women Doing Good Award for 2012.
June 28th, 2012 A4C Receives $1000 grant in Toyota 100 Cars for Good Program
Athletes for Cancer received a $1000 grant as runner-up in Toyota's 100 Cars for Good program.

June 18th, 2012 Carolina Cup Raises $3,750 for A4C
The Carolina Cup in Wilmington, North Carolina brought warm, southern hospitality and perfect conditions for three days of standup paddling events and support for Athletes for Cancer's KORU Survivorship Program.
