Athletes 4 Cancer needs volunteers. Our volunteers come from all communities and backgrounds, many with no connection to kiteboarding or paddlesurfing, but many with a connection to cancer. As a 100% volunteer organization, A4C relies on our volunteers to help us at the events and camps so that we can put our donor funds directly to benefit the cancer programs we support.

Various Dates starting April 2011

Volunteers for Survivorship Camps receive room and board at camp host destinations.

  • Oncology team for medical application process
  • Medical staff volunteers (RNs, EMTs, MDs)
  • Lead kiteboarding instructors, IKO Level 2 +
  • IKO Level 1 + certified kiteboarding instructors
  • SUP instructors
  • Cooks and assistant cooks
  • Logistics coordinators (drivers, shufflers, gear managers)
